Our name is FOUR RIVERS JAYCO.
We are flight nine of the Jayco Jafari International Travel
club. We abide by the international by-laws as well as our own by-laws. Our
club's membership is composed of families who enjoy camping together to
socialize in a friendly, responsible and morally acceptable way. We meet
one week-end each month at different locations, pre planned and accepted by
majority vote of the membership.
Our membership is composed of families from western Kentucky,
western Tennessee and southern Illinois. We have
hopes of someday having members from Missouri
as well. The campgrounds around and near The
Land Between The Lakes are some favorite places we like to build
our campfires but there are many other places in our four state area as
well.
The name FOUR RIVERS was selected because we are located near the areas
where the Cumberland, Ohio
and Tennessee rivers joins the Mississippi River. This area has an abundance of
great campgrounds and other recreation attractions. The city of Paducah,
Kentucky is located in this area and offers many attractions as
well.
Every third year, usually in July, we sponsor the Four State Rally held at
various locations. We attend other rallies and events as a group, traveling
in a convoy. There are extra trips sometimes planned besides the regular
monthly meetings. We welcome visitors to camp with us.
