| 2000-2 4-Rivers Jayco Flight #9 February Meeting - February 5, 2000 Grecian Steakhouse – Paducah, KY The 4-Rivers Jaycos met at the Grecian Steakhouse in Paducah, KY on Saturday, February 5, 2000 for dinner and business meeting. The weather was very nice and we had a good turn out with 27 in attendance. Those attending were the Wyatts, Wrights, Taylors, Ryans, Rays, Peters,Haleys with Johnny, Burdens, Borums, Odell & Deirdre Allbritten and Kyle & Crystal Allbritten with Ryan & Jordan. Visiting was Laura & Lindell Ellerbusch. We missed having the Proffitts, Eleams and Lauderdales who are enjoying sunny Florida, and the Youngs who had other plans. The Shermans had to cancel due to Pat not feeling very well. After visiting and eating dinner, Odell called our meeting to order at 6:10 PM. The minutes were read from the January meeting and approved. Treasurer Haley reported $1,196.75 in the treasury with two caps yet to be sold. In old business we decided on camping dates and places for this camping season, which are listed at the end of this newsletter. Cynthia said Jayco International give us $200 for the Rally decorations with the Rally theme bein Adventure, Freedom, Discovery and Family.Cynthia has purchased some decorations for the Rally and Mitzi will be ordering the backdrop for the stage. Under new business, the date was set for our State Rally July 13 – 15,2001 with Dale Wright volunteering to be Rally Chairman. It will be held at Kentucky Dam Village State Park, and flyers will be distributed at the Great North American RV Rally in Gillette, Wyoming July 17-21 and also at the Jayco International Rally in Warrens, Wisconsin July 31 – August 3. We discussed having different activities at the camp outs this year. Kyle decided that the door prizes should all be for men. (That was just Kyle’s opinion) However, it started out that way as the door prize was a toolbox, which was won by George & Mary Taylor. The Rays donated the door prize. The first camp out for the season will be March 3 – 5 at Columbus Belmont State Park near Arlington KY. We will eat at Luke’s Truck Stop in Arlington Saturday evening at about 5:00 PM. A motion was made by John Haley to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Jim Borum. Hope to see everyone at Columbus Belmont in March. Betty Ryan, Secretary |
