4-Rivers Jayco Flight #9
May Meeting –May 19-21, 2000
Piney Campground in LBL
By Saturday, May 18, Bob & Wanda Ray, Eugene & Faye Burden, and visitors Jim & DonnaYoung (in their nearly new motorhome) were enjoying the beautiful weather---waves were rolling, breezes blowing. Around noon on Friday John Haley, Durwood  & Rheitta Eleam and regular visitors Mary & Bob Lauderdale rolled in, in their new motorhome which some of had not seen yet. We also got to check out the Eleams’ new rig, a new Jayco
Designer 5th Wheel and a new Ford Truck. Soon came Kyle, Crystal, Jordan  & Ryan Allbritten; Dale, Jan & Megan Wright; Martha Sue, Dave & Amy Peters and a friend Wesley Owen. Denny & Elsie Hinkle liked us well enough to visit again and actually joined our club.  About dark, John & Lisa Moffett with children, Cole, Ethan, Cathlene and Lindsey were the guests of the K. Allbrittens. Cynthia Haley, Johnny Haley and his friends Josh Christenson & Pat Tarver came in very late on Friday and Kelly Peters came on Saturday morning. Saturday morning with the temperature a cool 65.8 degrees it was the
“opportunity” for the men to pamper the ladies again and prepare breakfast. We met under the pavilion for pancakes, bacon, sausage, coffee, juice and milk. Chris Cook a friend of the Peters family joined us for breakfast.
Following breakfast, in the absence of the President and Vice President, John Haley was selected to conduct our business session. A warm welcome was given to all our visitors.  Minutes and Treasurer’s Reports were given. There was some kind of discussion about a group that ate-out in Florida and was hoping that the Treasurer would agree to pay their food bill -------sorry folks, it didn’t work! *grin*
It was agreed that we would need to increase the food menu for the June breakfast by:
2 additional lbs of bacon, 1 additional box of Pancake mix, 1 bottle of cooking oil, 1 lb Decafe coffee, and 1 additional bottle of syrup – sugar free. Another suggestion was to “spread out” the items (bring 2 different items instead of 2 alike) so that if someone cannot come at the last moment, no one whole type of food would be missing. June and July campouts remain the same as listed last month. The women are to prepare a group break- fast for the June campout, and the group will go to the Lodge at 6 PM on Saturday night for supper.  For tonight it was decided that OYO was the way to go. Cynthia brought the mural for the backdrop, lights, and trees for the Jayco Rally in Warrens, WI. Crystal will see that they get to the Ryans for the trip.  Some are leaving July 12 for the Gillette, WY rally then on to the Jayco Rally via Yellowstone!

Door Prize was donated by the Odell Albrittens, and won by the Eleams.
The Wyatts will donate the June door prize.

Sure missed the Borums, O. Allbrittens, Shermans, Wyatts, Proffitts, and Taylors.  We had a great time, as usual!  Looking forward to the rallies and lots of camping together.
