4-Rivers JAYCO Club - Flight #9
April 2002 Newsletter
 The 4-Rivers Jayco Club - Flight #9 had its April campout on the 27th and 28th at Kentucky Dam Village State Park in Kentucky. The following member units attended: Odell and Deirdre Allbritten; Eugene and Faye Burden; Steve and Judy Dawson; Durwood and Rheitta Eleam; John Haley visited on Saturday and Cynthia and Johnny visited on Sunday; Kenny and Ann Herring; Randy and Vicki Knight; Dave and Martha Sue Peters; Norman and Jean Proffitt visited for the day; Bob and Wanda Ray; George and Mary Taylor; Frank and Pat Sherman; Dale and Jan Wright with Meagan; and also visiting for the day were Ed and Johnnie Wyatt. Guests attending were Jim and Carol Ablett; Whitey and Jo Nell Crawford; Jug and Marilyn Edmison; Bob and Mary Lauderdale and their daughter, Debbie Stalker; and Jim and Donna Young.   

It was a rainy weekend, but we didn’t let that stop us from enjoying a good fire, lots of good conversation, going out to eat, and for several of the group the Quilt Show! Due to not enough officers being present, we did not hold a business meeting. The Knights have a new e-mail rlkvlk77@midwest.net The McElroys have new cell phone numbers: Charlie 270-748-2806 Marla 270-836-3377.

At our May campout, we will be camping with Flight #14. We will provide and cook breakfast for them. A menu and grocery list will follow at the end of this newsletter.

June 7-9 Lake Wappapello, MO (Redman Creek)

June 21 - 23 IL State Rally

July 19-21 Rend Lake - North Sandusky

July 29 - August 2 International Rally, Kitchener, Ontario Canada

August 30 - Sept. 1 Current River, MO

September 13 - 15 Location open

October 25 - 27 Annual Invitational, Hillman Ferry

November 22 - 24 Nashville, TN

December - Date and location open

The door prize was donated by the Beamans, drawn by Odell, and won by the O. Allbrittens! (What?!? Do we smell a rat?!?) The Dawsons will provide the door prize in May.

There was a church service on Sunday provided by the campground.
