Flight #9 held its June campout at Lake Wappella in Missouri. Eleven of our twenty-one member units attended. Those attending were Odell and Deirdre Allbritten; Jim and Jared Borum; Eugene and Faye Burden; Steve and Judy Dawson; Durwood and Rheitta Eleam; Kenny and Ann Herring; Randy and Vicki Knight; Bill and Betty Ryan; Frank and Pat Sherman; George and Mary Taylor and Cody; Dale and Jan Wright and Meagan. Visitors were Bob and Mary Lauderdale with granddaughter Christie; and Zack Brinker friend of Jared Borum. Several units arrived early in the week and got a head start on a gorgeous weekend. The weather was cool, but warmed up and became more humid has the weekend arrived. It was a beautiful campout in beautiful park. On Saturday morning, Bill called our club meeting to order and welcomed our guests the Lauderdales and Zack. The minutes of the May meeting were approved as read by Deirdre.

In old business our 2003 Rally was discussed. A motion was made by Durwood, seconded by Eugene, and approved by the membership to appoint Odell as rally chairman. Our 2003 rally will be held on June 27 - 29 at KY Dam Village. The Hitch has been notified. Also, Faye reported that she is still working on the Internet problem.

In new business, Dale made a motion which was seconded by Durwood, and approved by the membership that at the September 13 - 15 campout at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN the men would cook breakfast for the ladies. We are going to try, for this campout only, having one person to pick up all the ingredients which will be paid for by the club. Dale made a motion, seconded by Eugene, and approved by the membership that Durwood would pick up these ingredients.

In the wagon masters' report, Eugene reported that he has made 11 reservations for our Labor Day campout at Current River, August 30 - September 2. If you are attending, you owe the club $15 which can be paid to Deirdre (who is acting treasurer). Remaining campouts:

A motion was made by Dale, seconded by Odell, and approved by the membership that at our next campout, July 19 - 21 at Rend Lake, the club would purchase hamburger and buns for a cookout. Vicki will make the purchase. Everyone should bring salad, vegetable, or dessert and condiments (Bring one large dish of the same item, or two small dishes of different items). Everyone should furnish their own drinks and table service. Also, those who have ice cream freezers can bring ice cream.

Program/activities Director Pat reports that we will play white elephant bingo at our next campout. Bring 2 wrapped white elephant gifts if you want to play.

Deirdre read a thank you note for the plant sent to Eugene and Faye at the death of Eugene's Mother.

The door prize furnished by the Eleams was drawn by Mary Lauderdale, and won by the Ryans. The door prize in July will be furnished by the McElroys. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn.

The ladies then were invited to attend a bridal luncheon for Meagan Wright at the Wrights' campsite. A delicious lunch was enjoyed by all. Meagan received many wonderful gifts. We all wish God's blessings on Meagan and Dan's marriage! The rest of the day was spent hikin', junkin', Wal-Martin', nappin' and a card game could be found in progress at anytime. Several enjoyed supper at the Fisherman's Net later in the evening.

Odell led us in a worship service on Sunday. Later everyone began packing up and heading for home. It was a great weekend! See you in July.
