Rivers Jayco, Flight 9
Flight 9 held it’s annual Christmas get-together in Metropolis at the First Baptist Church. Those in attendance were Odell & Deirdre Allbritten, Roger Barrell & Kaye Frashier, Jim, Mitizi, Jessica, & Jared Borum, Steve & Judy Dawson, Durwood & Rheitta Eleam, John, Cynthia, & Johnny Haley, Kenny & Ann Herring, Dennie & Elsie Hinkle, Randy, Vicki, & Nathan Knight with Julie Ostlund, Dave & Martha Sue Peters, Bob & Wanda Ray, Bill & Betty Ryan, Frank & Pat Sherman, Dale & Jan Wright, & Ed & Johnnie Wyatt. Guests joining us for the fun and food were Don & Dot Eizenga, Bob & Mary Lauderdale, & Glenn & Rosann Lingle. We all enjoyed a wonderful spread of food! I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who left with their pants unbuttoned. We certainly have lots of good chefs in our Flight. Later in the afternoon we all participated in a rousing game of “pass the gift”. Deirdre read a poem and when ever she said “right” we passed our present to the right, when she said “left” we passed the gift to the left. When it was all over we ended up with a gift that we didn’t bring. It was lots of fun.
Our next outing is January 31st at Odell & Deirdre Allbritten’s. Plan on arriving around 5:00 PM. We will order pizza and split the cost when we get there. Deirdre will e-mail everyone a “potluck” list and directions, (I hope). If you need directions e-mail them at odeldede@midwest.net.
I need any corrections for the new member list by January 23. I will have it at the January meeting. I have already received some revisions and thanks. I need membership numbers for Roger Barrall, Kenny Herring, and the Rice’s.
If you would like to receive the newsletters by mail, please send me pre addressed and pre stamped envelopes for the next year. Send to Vicki Knight, 208 Pine St. Energy, IL 62933
