Good location & good food.  Going back to July – thanks to Dale & Jan for their Rally leadership. From what I hear we had a very successful Rally! Also a big “Thank You” to The Youngblood’s for their $500.00 cash donation & door prize for our rally.

New Member:

Lorin Van Horn from Goreville, Il, he is a friend of Frank & Pat Sherman. Lorin, we are a good bunch of folks and hope you enjoy being a part of this group!  Welcome to Flight 9!

Friday night several took in the Balloon Glow in Centralia.  Sellers’ not being familiar with the area and not remembering directions given by Dale we missed the “glow”, but stayed for the super fireworks. Saturday morning many were up by 5:00 a.m. for the 6:30 a.m. balloon races and then went back again for the 7:30 p.m. Balloon Glow.  Aren’t we glad Kaye took care of the breakfast & dinner reservations?  Sunday morning we had our business meeting and Dale asked me to send thanks to everyone for their help & support with our Rally.  After our meeting Bill & Betty Ryan “Carlock Rung-O Aces” were observed casing the new Rung-O game at the Sellers’ site. Pat & Frieda attempted to play a game, but were wimpy and couldn’t take the heat.  Pat, it’s 5 to 5!  Let’s finish at Piney. Early afternoon everyone begin to leave, but Dale & Jan’s bad luck continued and had to install a new starter for the Suburban, plus his CB antenna went on the blink!  Dale don’t you think its time for somebody else to have a turn with bad luck?
