Bent Grass Concert a Bluegrass event entertained us at Shawnee Community College for our February get-together. Those tapping their feet to the music were: Tim & Katie Armstrong, Kaye Fraisher & Joe Fulton, Steve & Judy Dawson, John & Cynthia Haley, Dennis & Elsie Hinkle, Randy & Vicki Knight, Bill & Betty Ryan, Liale & Frieda Sellers, Frank & Pat Sherman and their guest Jim & Shar Cool; & Dale & Jan Wright. Actually the Haley’s skipped out after the meeting as John wasn’t sure that Bluegrass was his favorite kind of music. Friends of Flight 9: Don& Dot Eizenga & Jim & Donna Young. (I checked my list twice, so this month I didn’t leave anyone off!)
The February RV show was cancelled and we’re glad Betty suggested the Bluegrass event as an alternative. We enjoyed our Fish Fry meal and visiting before the concert. From what I heard everyone is anxious for the camping season to begin! Our first campout is March 17th-19th at Nathan Bedford State Park, Eva, TN. Since we all like to eat hope the weather co-operates for our potluck. If not, Tim found several restaurants we can choose from. Cynthia is working to see if the Owl program will be available that weekend. John said the park offers some neat nature trails for those who like to walk. We have six weeks (whose counting) to get our rigs ready! I hope our snowbirds will be back in time to join us!
