Friday did not get off to a good start it rained for 24 hours and Steve & Judy made a decision they were not packing in the rain and waited to come on Saturday morning –I don’t blame them! Saturday we awoke in the land of abundant sunshine! At 1:15 p.m. we had our business meeting and then everyone scattered to get their creative juices flowing for the pumpkin carving contest to be held at 4:00 p.m. At 5:00 p.m. we “chow downed” on chili, soups, sandwiches & lots of delicious deserts. After supper the kids made their way through the park for trick-or-treat’n and then back to the shelter for costume & pumpkin judging.
