Happy New Year to you all! I hope all of our members and friends had a wonderful Christmas holiday and we would like to wish all of you a healthy and prosperous new year.

Our Jayco club had a big Christmas dinner at the Cypress Baptist Church in Cypress Illinois. We always have such scrumptious meals. Our ladies and a few gentlemen are really good cooks. We greeted and hugged and ate………then we visited some more and ate some more. Believe me this bunch knows how to be social and enjoy their food. 

We were all glad to see our friend Jean Proffitt attending. Jean lost her husband Norman in 2007. We were also very happy to see Dale Wright out and about after his open heart surgery. He looked great but he still has some healing to do. Everyone keep him in your prayers. After our meal and business meeting there was a rousing game of Dirty Santa and  some more fellowship. The weather was nice and everyone had a safe trip home. We are looking forward to a new year of camping and some brand new adventures with our fellow Jaycos.

Our January meeting will be held at the Ky. Dam Village Lodge on the 19^th at 5pm. We are to bring a shoe box to decorate for Valentine’s Day. We will then bring them in February to be filled with Valentines from our friends. This kind of takes me back to grade school days when we had box suppers and the boys bought our boxes. Who remembers that?

The door prize for November was donated by the Armstrong’s and won by the Eleams. There was no door prize in December. The January door prize will be donated by the Borums.

The 50\50 was won by the Cools for $30.00.
